the occasion today Blog Action Day 2009 on the theme of climate change, I was looking for an original concept and ecology. Here MUVBOX
street is a restaurant housed in a container weighing 5 tons, which unfolds in 90 seconds just by pressing a button. It is folded in the box the same way once the day ended. The first
MUVBOX is installed Montreal and sells specialties including lobster.
The ecological interest of the restaurant is that it works with its solar panels allowing it to produce 40% of its electricity: the electric light and the deployment of the panels during assembly and disassembly. Heating elements do not yet work with renewable energy but manufacturers are already working on an even more environmentally friendly of the box. It also loads a floor made from recycled tires and a wood-fired oven. The mode of operation is very inspired by boats, including paintings for the Louvre, the management of wastewater, ... The
MUVBOX can travel by truck and by boat as it is designed in a container that meets international standards of transport. So let your world tour with your MUVBOX!
