The Ribat
The Ribat of Monastir is located near the resort spa- tourism "Marina Cape" and near the ledge (which offers a nice sitting a few meters walk from the beach).
Indeed, Ribat of Monastir, built in the heyday of the Arab-Muslim empire in the 8th century was one of the fortresses to secure the route of the pilgrimage to Mecca.
Today Ribat Monastir offers a superb view throughout the city.
Moreover, recently opened a cafe in the Ribat to enjoy the historic surroundings of the site.
