For four Tuesdays, at school, Philippe Le Bouteiller, potter's workshop Fusion Dish Vedrine of us learned to work the clay.
On his advice, we made a bowl-shaped animal, an imaginary dragon, a pencil jar or vase using the technique of coiling and ... a surprise.
He taught us the need not to be afraid to touch the clay, well take your time. We found the slip that allows you to paste the pieces of clay.
Philippe brought our creations in his studio to dry and cook them in his big oven. We look forward to seeing them finished!
At year end, we will visit him in his studio ceramics from the Védrine.
