Decidedly this blog is about many unusual hotels! Here's one more called the Poseidon Hotel, a luxury hotel complex located 15 meters under the sea in Fiji.
The hotel has 24 suites of 51 m2 and two luxury apartments. It also includes a fitness center, library, restaurants, bars and a conference room.
The structure is made of acrylic plastic and the complex is 90% transparent.It takes 15,000 dollars per person per week (flight from the main island included) with 4 nights at the complex on the beach, and 2 nights under water. The hotel hopes to attract over 4,500 visitors per year
But reservations are not yet open. The hotel plans to take reservations 1ST for September 2009 for an opening in early 2010.
