This is the archaeological site of ancient Ruspina stretching an area of more than 8 hectares. It is full of archaeological treasures dating back to a time loitaine and cover a period of nearly ten centuries from 4 th century BC to 6 th century AD. The name of the source is Ruspina Carthaginian and means Cape or the peninsula. If one takes the historical perspective, it is in the city of Ruspina that Julius Caesar decided to establish a camp and is also here that he conducted his first battle against the Pompeian. Research that has been made recently have revealed mosaics, Roman pavements and baths.
